Jacob Lynn
Jacob is a graduate student in physics. Variously from the suburbs of Dallas and coastal Alabama (depending on which is most convenient to him at the time), he did his undergraduate at New York University, where he affected a southern accent from time to time. Now at Berkeley, he does research in astrophysics theory, which to this point has mostly meant running simulations on some of the largest supercomputers in the world.
Family fun facts: his nuclear family would have the instrumentation for a full woodwind quintet, were it not for his deadbeat younger sister, who dropped the french horn to take up voice lessons. Also, not one but two of his uncles have outfitted their houses with rooftop solar panels.
